Stitch-out Samples

These are sample stitch-outs from various Internet sites.

My apologies for the complete incompetence when I stitched these 2 designs. I was trying to conserve space on my fabric and wanted to scrunch the second design up close to the dragonfly. However, I'm not anywhere competent on my embroidery machine, so I failed miserably, as evidenced by the fact that the second design overlaps part of the poor dragonfly, who never did anyone any harm.

The dragonfly comes from www.janome.com. The design area is 3.25"x2".

The flower on the lace background motif came from Sue Box Creations in her Designer Lace Collection. The design area is 3.25"x3.75".

This came from A Stich A Half design studio, but the freebie is offered by Secrets of Embroidery, in their Freebie page in the dropdown menu area. This particular design is in the Classic Gold Heirloom collection from A Stitch A Half. You'll see an unstitched area on the top horizontal band of the pentagon outline. That is not a fault of the design, but rather, my mistake. I ran out of bobbin thread and didn't realize it.
I would like to say that the designer of the motifs from Sadia Sews is utterly AWESOME. She has a many, many lovely collections .. and lots of free designs from several of the collections. This is from Sadia Sews, part of the Kanta Lace 3 collection. The design is 2.875"x2.875".
This is also from Sadia Sews, "In Memory". The design is 1.375"x2.875".
This is also from Sadia Sews, part of the Kanta Lace 1 collection. The design is 1.75"x1.75". The picture is kinda fuzzy cuz I haven't become comfortable with my camera yet. The actual design is not fuzzy at all. ;-)

Unfortunately, I have decided to discontinue the guestbook feature. The one that Freeservers provides has a horrid bug in it that allows spammers to automatically post entries. These spammers can clog up a guestbook in a matter of seconds. Therefore, instead of posting a guestbook entry, I would love to hear from you via an email ... the link is below! Thanks for looking at my pages. :-)
