A Pillow for my friend

December 2004.

In 2001, I made a Log Cabin quilt (courthouse steps variation) for a friend of mine, who happens to be of Chinese ancestry. When I found this freebie Kanji ("friend"), I knew that a coordinating throw pillow would be a perfect gift. Luckily, I'm a packrat and still had some fabric scraps left over from the quilt to make this 16" pillow. I really do hope the Kanji actually does say "friend" and not anything objectionable like, "your grandmother has cheese between her ears". :-)

Unfortunately, this is another design where I don't have the informational file that should go with the design, so I don't know where I downloaded it from. The design is the kanji character with the English word "Friend" underneath it. Good luck in finding it.

The quilt can be seen on my quilting pages.

Unfortunately, I have decided to discontinue the guestbook feature. The one that Freeservers provides has a horrid bug in it that allows spammers to automatically post entries. These spammers can clog up a guestbook in a matter of seconds. Therefore, instead of posting a guestbook entry, I would love to hear from you via an email ... the link is below! Thanks for looking at my pages. :-)
